 | Young Adults: Cor Jesu joins Borromeo Weekend - 11/6/2009 Cor Jesu, a First-Friday night of adoration, Confessions, and praise, will join Borromeo Weekend on Friday, November 6. Borromeo weekend, also known as the 40-hour devotion, is 40 hours of Eucharistic adoration. It begins with Mass at 7 p.m. at the St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel at the University of St. Thomas , followed by a Eucharistic procession at 8:15 across campus to the St. Paul Seminary chapel. Confessions, adoration, music and praise begin at 9 p.m.
During the 40 hours, various prayers, such as the rosary and the Divine Office, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, song, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet, are offered.
All are welcome for any part of the weekend. Everything but the opening Mass at the St. Thomas chapel will be held in St. Mary’s Chapel at the St. Paul Seminary.
